Implementation of a container datacenter as part of a recovery plan at Nantes Airport
Challenges
In September 2011, as part of the implementation of a business recovery plan, Nantes Atlantique Airport, operated by Vinci Airport, launched a call for tenders in order to acquire a second computer room.
Module-it’s answer
In less than 3 months, the modularized shipping container proposed by Module-IT has been delivered and put into service an IT-box of 4 racks, now extended to 5. It was delivered in April and the module was operational by the middle of May.
Project strengths
Thanks to this type of structure, the airport will be able to equip itself with an additional module according to its future needs.
