Maisons du Monde

Maisons du Monde is a French home furnishings and decor retailer founded in Brest in 1990, with over 250 stores worldwide (in France, Italy, Spain, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland).

The project

A scalable, high-availability data center.

The Issues

Following the relocation of its administrative headquarters, Maisons du Monde sought to build a new data center that would meet the availability requirements of its retail business. With more than 250 stores, the availability of its IT infrastructure and its scalability are of paramount importance.

The Module-it Solution

Turnkey design and implementation of a scalable data center ranging from 30 kW to 100 kW. High availability of the solution with 2N redundancy for power and cooling systems.

The strength of the solution

Since it didn’t know what its future needs would be, Maisons du Monde needed a data center with high scalability. The speed of deployment and the adaptability of the data center provided by Module-it were the key strengths of this project.
